Sheri Soltes of Texas Hearing & Service Dogs joins us today. Sheri came on Inner Views with her dog, Pearl, who she is currently training to be a service dog. The dogs she trains are for people who can’t hear or are mobility-impaired (as opposed to being blind), and they perform all sorts of everyday tasks for their owners. The method of training is positive and loving, and the work the dogs do is very, very cool.
