Four years ago, this Muslim convert was detained in an airport and later arrested on suspicion of being involved in a terrorism plot. Although he was ultimately found innocent, he spent 4 months in prison and a deportation case ensued, which lasted for years. (Sherif has a green card but is not yet a citizen.)
